M Group is looking for seasonal staff for the 2025-2026 Winter Season

Located in the hub of the village, we are less than 500m from the ski field and set amongst the best restaurants and bars. We welcome guests from all parts of the globe, but predominantly our guests come from Oceania, Asia, Europe and North America.

Breakfast Chef

M Group Niseko is looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our team for the 2025/26 Winter Season!


We are a well-established company located in the center of Hirafu, and can offer a variety of benefits including subsidised lift pass, staff meals and subsidised accommodation in the heart of Hirafu.

We are looking for motivated staff who are team-oriented and organised, with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

Applicants should be well-presented with a positive attitude and strong work-ethic.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking and managing breakfast service and preparation of staff meals.

  • Set up and clean the kitchen before and after service.

  • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.

  • Responsible for maintaining stock levels.

  • Driving when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years previous culinary experience (breakfast experience preferred).

  • Excellent communication & organisation skills

  • Experience in Hospitality preferred

  • Valid International drivers licence

  • Right to work in Japan, holding a valid working holiday visa or similar.

Hours:

  • Approx. 35 hours to 45 hours per week (morning shifts), with at least 1 to 2 days off a week to ensure you have plenty of time to get up the mountain!

Salary negotiable based on experience.


Hotel Staff

M Group Niseko is looking for Hotel Staff to join our team for the 2025/26 Winter Season!

We are a well-established company located in the center of Hirafu, and can offer a variety of benefits including subsidised lift pass, staff meals, and subsidised accommodation in the heart of Hirafu.

We are looking for motivated staff who are team-oriented, organised, and friendly, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Applicants should be well-presented with a positive attitude and strong work-ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest facing role responsible for check in and check out procedures.

  • Respond to guest services enquiries.

  • Manage breakfast set up and service, including clean up and dishwashing.

  • Simple housekeeping tasks, including bed making.

  • Drive guests for pick-up and drop-off as needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of hotel premises.

  • Coordinate with hotel staff to ensure reservations and payments are finalised

  • Assist the Owner when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication & organisation skills

  • Experience in Hospitality preferred

  • Valid International drivers licence

  • Right to work in Japan, holding a valid working holiday visa or similar.

Hours:

  • Approx. 35 hours to 45 hours per week (alternating morning and afternoon shifts), with 1 to 2 days off to ensure you have plenty of time to get up the mountain!

Salary negotiable based on experience.

Year Round Positions

Accountant & Administrator

A full time or part time position at M Group has opened for an Accountant and Administrator to join our team. We are a well-established company that owns multiple properties located in the center of the Hirafu area.
We are looking for staff that are team-oriented, friendly, calm and collected, have good problem-solving skills and are well-organised with a keen eye for detail. Applicants should be well-presented with excellent etiquette, and have a positive attitude and strong work-ethic.

Working Hours:
Full Time - 9am - 5pm, 5 Days per week
Part Time - Variable

Location: Niseko Hirafu

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
  • Process bank deposits
  • Reconcile financial statements
  • Identify and address discrepancies
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
  • Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets

Required Skills:

  • 2 years minimum experience in accounting and office administration.
  • Bilingual Japanese & English
  • Business Japanese or higher
  • Conversational English or higher
  • Excellent Communication & Organisation Skills
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software

Remuneration:
Salary negotiable based on experience
