Sapporo Snow Festival
Established in 1950, the Sapporo Snow Festival grew from surprisingly humble beginnings into an internationally recognised and acclaimed event, becoming the biggest and most spectacular festival in Japan.
Join the hundreds of thousands of tourists and locals alike as you enjoy a wide range of snow and ice statues, sculptures, shows, and internationally sourced food and souvenir stalls.

Kutchan Jaga Matsuri (Kutchan Potato Festival)
The Jaga Matsuri is a celebration of Kutchan’s most famous crop, and a chance for the town to come together in a fun, family-friendly festival atmosphere at the peak of summer. If you like potato dishes, fresh food-stalls, music, and sunshine, then this is a festival not to be missed.

Niseko Cycle Week
Enjoy empty roads, clean air and incredible panoramic views in a week long event promoting the benefits and excitement of one of Hokkaido’s favourite summer pastimes. There are competitions, races and carefully selected roads and courses for road cyclists, downhill cyclists, and mountain bikers alike.
